Taking Care of your Spoons

All spoons should be hand washed only. Never soak your spoons in water or put them into the dishwasher. Its best to hand wash all spoons with warm water and a mild detergent. To make sure your spoons live a long life, I recommend treating your spoons periodically. This simple task will keep your spoons looking beautiful and fresh for years to come.

To do this follow these simple steps…

1. After washing your spoon in warm water, make sure the spoon is fully dry before moving onto the next step.

2. Use a small piece of sandpaper 400-600 Grit (or Scotch Brite pads Burgundy or Grey) and lightly sand your spoon.

3. Wipe the spoon off of all dirt and dust

4. Apply a small amount of Spoon Butter (coconut oil and bees wax) or Mineral oil

5. Set your spoon aside to dry and enjoy, apply these steps every time your spoon seems dry or fuzzy from use.
